Concept art by Konstantin Maystrenko. A personal project where my main goal was to strengthen my skills at sculpting cloth and working with hair cards.
I was responsible for modeling and texturing the playable hero characters as well as NPC enemies.
I also created a posed digital sculpt of the hero character, Felix Chevalier, which was used at E3 for the announcement of the game. Standing on the shoulders of giants like Saul Bass, Counterspy's minimalist and faceted look was a lot of fun to work with.
This started as an entry to artbypapercut.com's Showdown Challenge. The goal was to take a notable character from history and make a fighting game character out of them. I thought it would be fun if his super move was to release his thought experiment cats, both the alive and dead versions, from their radioactive box and at his opponent.
